Global Debt and Borrowing Costs Rise, International Bodies Warn

Three major international financial bodies have issued warnings about increasing debt levels and rising borrowing costs in large economies. The Institute of International Finance (IIF) highlighted challenges facing the US, France, UK, and Japan, while the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) also expressed global concerns. IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva told the BBC that economic shocks have significantly increased debt levels.
