India's Russian Crude Oil Imports Declined in August
India's imports of Russian crude oil decreased by 16.5% in August. This decline coincided with a rise in oil supplies from West Asia. Specifically, imports of Iraqi oil increased by approximately 25% to about 171,000 barrels per day during the same period. Further reductions in Russian crude imports were anticipated for September.
