NCLAT hears Subhash Chandra's appeal against NCLT asset alienation order
The National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) is hearing an appeal filed by Subhash Chandra against an order from the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) concerning the alienation of assets. Earlier in the month, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) had registered a First Information Report (FIR) against Chandra, several companies, and their directors. The FIR alleges they inflated his net worth to secure loans from Life Insurance Corporation Housing Finance.
