Gold Missing From Bank and Temple, Alleged Fraud and Theft
In two separate incidents, gold has gone missing. At Federal Bank in Kavi Nagar, 22 customers' pledged gold, valued at approximately Rs 1.5 crore, has reportedly disappeared. An FIR has been filed against 18 individuals accused of posing as customers and obtaining loans against fake gold collateral. Separately, a gold crown offered by devotees to the Sabarimala Temple has gone missing, and a fake replica was discovered in a storeroom.
