India to Sign Free Trade Agreements with EU and Canada in December
India will sign a free‑trade agreement with the European Union on 16 December, and is close to finalising free‑trade agreements with both the EU and Canada later in the month. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to travel in December to Canada, the United States and Belgium as part of the diplomatic trips linked to the three separate FTAs that are currently being negotiated or awaiting approval.
