Oil Prices Dip Amid Hopes for US-Iran Diplomacy, Supply Concerns Remain
Oil prices experienced a slight decrease following a volatile week, with WTI crude at $93.52 a barrel and Brent crude at $105.80. This dip is attributed to optimism surrounding potential diplomatic solutions to the US-Iran conflict and Iran's openness to diplomacy. However, markets remain wary due to ongoing attacks on Saudi oil facilities and the broader geopolitical unrest in the Middle East, which has impacted energy supply worries. Brent crude futures fell 94 cents, or 0.9 per cent, to $102.13 a barrel, according to one report.
