Pakistan Strikes Afghanistan After Drone Incursions

Pakistan conducted airstrikes on 10 locations in Afghanistan on Thursday, September 24, targeting sites used to launch and store drones. Pakistan stated these strikes were in retaliation for a cross-border drone incursion the previous day. The strikes ended weeks of relative calm following months of cross-border hostilities. The Taliban reported that four civilians were killed in the Pakistani strikes, while Pakistan's Information Minister Attaullah Tarar stated the strikes were "strictly limited to identified military objectives."
