Mass 'Vande Mataram' Singing Event Held Across India
A nationwide event saw approximately 1 crore (10 million) people singing the national song 'Vande Mataram' in unison. The event took place in over 25,000 Vidya Bharti centers across the country. Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai participated in the singing at Saraswati Shishu Mandir in Raipur, describing 'Vande Mataram' as the 'voice of national consciousness'.
