Delhi High Court Orders Protection, Takedown of Deepfake Image with PM Modi
The Delhi High Court has ordered police protection for a woman who alleged that leaders of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) circulated a deepfake image of her with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The court also directed the takedown of the image, stating the matter concerned the Prime Minister. The woman approached the court on Friday, September 25, 2026, alleging the image was circulated during a protest organized by CJP activists.
