Andhra Pradesh mandates 70% renewable energy for data centers
Andhra Pradesh has set a rule requiring data centers to source 70% of their energy from renewable sources, while also addressing water concerns. Minister Lokesh stated that the state aims to establish Visakhapatnam as a significant data-center hub to attract large technology investments and develop its digital infrastructure.
