Supreme Court allows US voter database use for citizenship checks
The U.S. Supreme Court has lifted restrictions on a federal database of voters, allowing the Trump administration to use it to check the citizenship of voters. The administration claimed the database, known as SAVE, would combat voting by noncitizens.
