Students Fall Ill After Consuming Breakfast in Telangana and Tamil Nadu
In Telangana, HKMCF India has opened a community kitchen to provide breakfast to 29,183 students, while the state government has a plan to serve breakfast to 22 lakh students. Separately, in Tiruvallur, Tamil Nadu, 40 students were hospitalized after falling ill with vomiting and dizziness. Reports indicate a lizard was found in the breakfast served at a government middle school, leading to the incident. Authorities reportedly cleaned the school kitchen.
