Election Commission eases process for Special Summary Revision
The Election Commission (EC) has announced measures to simplify the Special Summary Revision (SSR) process. In most cases, voters will not be required to attend hearings. The EC stated that the old Form 6 will continue to be used during the non-SSR period, and mandatory hearings will not be enforced. To further ease the process, the EC will implement home visits, online hearings, and help desks for voters.
