Former SP Leader Arrested for Posing as Official to Make Woman IAS Officer

A former Samajwadi Party (SP) leader has been arrested for allegedly promising to make a woman bank employee an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer. The leader, identified as a former SP leader, was apprehended in Aligarh, where he was reportedly hiding at a relative's residence. The alleged scam involved luring the woman with the promise of becoming an IAS officer through a Chief Minister's quota. A chat related to this promise had gone viral.
