Rahul Gandhi Claims EVM, Voter List 'Match-Fixing'; Congress Vows Resistance
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has alleged 'match-fixing' involving Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) and the voters' list, stating that the Congress party will fight as a force of 'resistance'. During a meeting of the INDIA bloc, Gandhi asserted a commitment to fight the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) until the end. Other opposition leaders present, including Mamata Banerjee, suggested that the Congress could aim for the Prime Minister's post if it united all opposition parties. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, however, stated that the party is not seeking power or the Prime Ministership, but rather aims to 'save the nation and democracy'.
