Tamil Nadu CM Launches Expanded Free Bus Scheme for Women
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, referred to as CM Vijay in some reports, launched the expanded 'Vettri Payanam' scheme on Gandhi Jayanti. The scheme aims to provide free bus services to approximately 84 lakh women daily. The Chief Minister personally distributed tickets and interacted with women beneficiaries ahead of the launch.
