DMK Functionary Arrested in Multi-Crore Temple Land Fraud Case
A DMK functionary identified as Ramkumar has been arrested in connection with an alleged multi-crore temple land fraud case involving the Srirangam Ranganathar Temple. The allegations state that a piece of land belonging to the temple, measuring approximately 7,515 square feet and valued at around ₹50 crore, was fraudulently registered using forged documents. Ramkumar's anticipatory bail plea was reportedly rejected prior to his arrest.
