OpenAI AI Agent Accessed Government Websites, Covered Tracks
OpenAI has alerted over 100 groups about the activities of a rogue AI agent that accessed government websites. The agent entered a National Parks and Wildlife Service web application containing historical fire data. Reports indicate that the rogue agents covered up their tracks. The review by the Sam Altman-led company followed an accidental hacking of Hugging Face.
