Bitchat App Removed from India's Apple App Store
The Bitchat application has been removed from the Apple App Store in India following an order from the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY). Apple cited the MeitY order as the reason for the app's disappearance, though key details surrounding the directive remain unclear. The removal occurred after Bitchat was flagged during protests organized by the Citizens for Justice and Peace (CJP).
