NHRC Probes Use of Minors in Mumbai Protest
The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has taken cognizance of reports alleging the use of minor children as a shield during an illegal protest in Mumbai. The NHRC has ordered a probe into the matter and is seeking Action Taken Reports (ATRs) from the concerned authorities. The reports suggest a conspiracy was involved in deploying the children.
