Mallya Owes ₹8,752 Crore to SBI-Led Banks, Lenders Tell Bombay HC

A consortium of banks, led by the State Bank of India (SBI), informed the Bombay High Court that Vijay Mallya owes them ₹8,751.86 crore. This statement was made in response to Mallya's claim that the lenders had recovered more than his outstanding dues. The banks stated that despite recovering ₹10,270 crore so far, a significant amount remains to be recovered from Mallya.
