Trump Campaigns in Alabama Amid Midterm Concerns
Former President Donald Trump held campaign events in Alabama, a state considered reliably Republican. He stated he would return the following week. One report noted that Trump visited Bryant-Denny Stadium for the Alabama vs. Georgia college football game. Another mentioned Trump reliving his "glory days" in Alabama, observing "empty seats" at an event. Separately, Trump expressed a desire to again ban media outlets from the White House. Coverage also noted Trump adding a $3.2 billion Alabama bridge to a list of projects he wishes to have named after him.
