India Summons Pakistan Envoy Over Border Incident, Rejects Claims
India summoned the Chargé d’Affaires of the Pakistan High Commission on Saturday to protest alleged continued facilitation of illegal cross-border infiltration from Pakistan. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) rejected Pakistan's claims regarding an incident in Punjab's Ferozepur sector along the International Border on Friday, describing them as "baseless and motivated allegations." The MEA stated that two Pakistani nationals were killed by the Border Security Force (BSF) while attempting to intrude into Indian territory. Pakistan had summoned the Indian diplomat to protest the killing of these two individuals.
