Former Gujarat CM Offers Reward for Specific Communities to Carry Waste
Former Gujarat Chief Minister Shankersinh Vaghela stated at an event in Narmada district's Sagbara that he would give 50,000 rupees to any Patel, Bania, or Brahmin if they were to carry waste on their heads. Congress state president Amit Chavda was also present at the event. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has criticized Vaghela's statement.
