BSF shoots two infiltrators; Pakistan claims they were civilians
Border Security Force (BSF) personnel shot and killed two individuals attempting to infiltrate across the border in the Ferozepur sector. Pakistan's Foreign Ministry stated that the individuals were its citizens and claimed they crossed "by mistake." India summoned the Charge d'Affaires of the Pakistan High Commission to lodge a strong protest against Pakistan's alleged assistance in cross-border infiltration. India's Ministry of External Affairs rejected Pakistan's claims as baseless, stating that three individuals had entered Indian territory and moved towards the border fence despite multiple warnings from the BSF.
