Woman Vows Revenge After Hut Burns Down in Badaun
A young woman in Badaun's Labhari village vowed revenge, stating "I will become Phoolan Devi and take revenge," while standing before her burning hut. A video of the incident went viral, bringing a land dispute to the forefront. The woman alleges that police and a Lekhpal (revenue official) entered her home and set the hut ablaze. However, police claim the hut was set on fire by the woman herself.
