DRDO tests indigenous high-altitude airship for surveillance

The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has successfully conducted a flight trial of its indigenous High-Altitude Platform (HAPS), a lighter-than-air system designed for long-endurance surveillance. The experimental flight reached an altitude of 21 kilometers (21 km) above sea level.
