Italian PM Seeks Voice Trademark to Combat AI Deepfakes
Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has filed to trademark her voice with an EU agency. The move is intended to protect her voice from being used in AI-generated deepfakes. Meloni submitted a four-second audio clip as part of the application. Several movie stars are also reportedly seeking to trademark their voices.
