Emmys to Stream Exclusively on Amazon Prime Video Globally
The Emmy Awards will transition to exclusively streaming on Amazon Prime Video globally starting in 2027 under a six-year deal. This marks the end of a tradition where major US broadcast networks shared duties for airing the awards ceremony. The move will allow worldwide audiences to watch the gala live and free of charge on the streaming platform.
