Delhi Police Denies Protest Permit to CJP, Cites Curbs

The Delhi Police denied a permit to the Citizens for Justice and Peace (CJP) for a protest scheduled for October 10. The denial was reportedly due to existing curbs under Section 163, and mass detentions were continuing. CJP had submitted a proposal for the protest against the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) to the Delhi Police.
