Rahul, Priyanka Gandhi detained during opposition protest in Delhi
Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi were detained by Delhi Police during an opposition protest against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. The protest, initially planned as a march by the INDIA bloc to Jantar Mantar, involved an eight-hour sit-in by Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi at Akashvani Bhawan. Following the sit-in, a police case was filed against both leaders and others. Reports also indicate friction between police and the CRPF over Rahul Gandhi's security protocol during the protests. The opposition is reportedly planning further protests.
