India and Bangladesh Discuss Ganges Water Sharing Pact
Bangladesh has requested an extension of the Ganges water-sharing agreement with India and a guarantee for dry-season water supply. Dhaka hopes to finalize a deal before December 12. India's Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) stated that India seeks 'positive, constructive, and forward-looking' engagement with Bangladesh.
