Court: Late-night calls don't automatically question a woman's character
A Delhi court has ruled that a woman talking to a man at night does not provide grounds to question her character. The court emphasized that privacy invasions must be reasonably justified and stated that Indian society is not so backward as to make such assumptions. This ruling came while dismissing a husband's petition seeking his wife's call records.
