Bank of England to feature native species on new banknotes
The Bank of England has announced that four native species will be featured on its next generation of banknotes. The selected animals include barn owls, bumblebees, puffins, and hedgehogs. A consultation process led to their selection, though the specific note each creature will adorn has not yet been decided.
