Indian researchers named among world's top scientists
Four faculty members from Nagaland University and one researcher from Kashmir University have been recognized among the world's top 2% of scientists. The ranking, compiled by Stanford University and Elsevier, utilizes Scopus citation records and a composite citation score (c-score) that considers factors like citations, the h-index, co-authorship, and authorship position. Indian Institutes of Science (IISc), Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), and Jadavpur University were identified as leading Indian institutions in the global list.
