Massive Wine Heist in Italy: 30,000 Bottles Stolen
Masked thieves carried out what is described as Italy's largest ever wine robbery last weekend at a warehouse in central Italy, stealing approximately 30,000 bottles. The stolen wine is valued at over $5.6 million, with some reports stating it is worth up to £4.2 million or €5 million. The thieves reportedly used two vans to transport the stolen goods.
