Former Banker's Interest Rate Rigging Conviction Overturned
Christian Bittar, a former Deutsche Bank trader, has had his conviction for rigging interest rates quashed by the Court of Appeal. He becomes the eighth person to clear their name in relation to the case, following the acquittal of five other former bankers just days prior. Bittar had been jailed in 2018.
