SEBI to issue new derivatives settlement guidelines within a week
SEBI chairman Tuhin Kanta Pandey said the regulator expects to publish guidelines on the settlement-price mechanism for derivatives on expiry days during the closing auction session within a week, after reviewing the Closing Auction Session and market feedback; SEBI also indicated it is working on simpler regulations, easier market access and lower compliance burdens.
