Bureaucratic Reshuffle Includes New Deputy Election Commissioner Appointment
The Central government has appointed Prakash Rajpurohit, an IAS officer from the 2010 batch, as Deputy Election Commissioner. His tenure is set to last until April 8, 2030. This appointment is part of a larger bureaucratic reshuffle that includes 27 civil servants being cleared for senior posts by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet. Vivek Khare has been appointed Joint Secretary at the National Testing Agency (NTA).
