Trump calls for Ukraine leadership change, peace deal
Former U.S. President Donald Trump stated that Russian President Vladimir Putin "would like to see a settlement" in the Ukraine war. Trump also suggested that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy should "get a new leader" who would be willing to negotiate and end the conflict. Trump criticized Zelenskyy for not holding an election since Russia's 2022 invasion and claimed Zelenskyy "wants to make problems for the world." Trump's remarks were made in comments about the ongoing war.
