Abhishek Banerjee summoned over billboard row and bypoll claims
Trinamool Congress leader Abhishek Banerjee's Kolkata residence was visited by police on Sunday, who served him a notice for further questioning in the Camac Street party office billboard case. Separately, Banerjee has been booked for allegedly spreading misinformation about the Rejinagar bypolls. An FIR was filed against him after the Election Commission (EC) debunked his social media claim regarding voter counts in the bypolls. The complaint was filed by the ECI returning officer.
