Ex-Flipkart Employees Seek Walmart Stock Option Liquidity
Approximately 1,000 former Flipkart employees have approached Walmart seeking liquidity for their stock options. On October 10, a group of former executives initiated a petition to unite an estimated 20,000 to 30,000 former employees from Flipkart and its associated companies, including Myntra, Cleartrip, Shopsy, Super Money, and ANS Commerce. The petition's objective is to include these former employees in Walmart's planned $2 billion Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) buyback.
