Court Denies UAPA-Accused Travel Abroad for UK Research
A Delhi court has denied UAPA-accused Natasha Narwal permission to travel to the UK for a research presentation at SOAS University. The Additional Sessions Judge at Karkardooma Courts cited that the right to travel abroad is not absolute and that the pendency of UAPA proceedings against Narwal, who was associated with the Pinjra Tod group during the 2020 Delhi riots, remains a relevant consideration. The High Court had previously sought a police response on Narwal's plea.
