Centre directs states to display healthcare service rates prominently
The Centre has directed states and Union Territories to ensure that healthcare service rates are prominently displayed by hospitals and clinical establishments. This measure aims to enable patients to make informed decisions, build trust, and prevent billing-related disputes. The Health Ministry also urged these establishments to display package rates specifically for international patients visiting India for medical and Ayush visas, enforcing existing rules.
