Chennai Metro Yellow Line Opens with Limited Operating Hours
The Chennai Metro's Yellow Line has opened, connecting 11 stations. However, unlike the Phase I network which operates from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m., the new Phase II services will run only between 7 a.m. and 9 p.m. Commuters have expressed a desire for improved frequency and timings for the new services.
