Hackers Heat French Supermarket Fridges to 50C, Causing Fires and Spoilage
Hackers launched an "unprecedented" cyber-attack that raised the temperatures in hundreds of French supermarket refrigerators and freezers to as high as 50 degrees Celsius overnight. The attack affected hundreds of Intermarché shops and Coopérative U outlets, causing fires and spoiling food. There are fears that Dutch chains may also have been affected.
