Kerala High Court Orders Release of Transgender Surgery Aid
The Kerala High Court has ordered the release of ₹21,000 in post-surgery financial aid to a transgender man within two months. The aid is for post-operative treatment following sex reassignment surgery. The petitioner had sought the outstanding amount, which was part of a ₹36,000 aid package, along with 18% annual interest.
