Rahul Gandhi faces allegations of misconduct during protests
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has become the subject of controversy following his participation in protests. During a demonstration near the Supreme Court, a pregnant journalist alleged that Gandhi grabbed and pulled her, and also pushed a party worker. The BJP criticized Gandhi's actions, stating "No one is above the law." In a separate development, Delhi Police have designated three new locations for protests, effectively banning demonstrations at Jantar Mantar. Gandhi expressed support for the Citizens for Justice and Peace (CJP) protest at Jantar Mantar, calling arrests for unfurling the national flag "cowardice." He also responded to alleged police baton charges by playing a flute, stating "Dande ka jawab" (response to batons). Additionally, nearly 200 Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) members reportedly sought a resolution against Gandhi's march, citing "indirect pressure" on judges.
