Two separate assaults reported in India, one with a sword, another with sticks
In two separate incidents, individuals sustained injuries from violent assaults. In one case, a young man was attacked with a sword on his head and back while returning home, leaving him in serious condition and admitted to the district hospital. This attack reportedly occurred three days after a previous incident. In a separate incident, a female shopkeeper was assaulted with sticks and rods on her head and face after she refused to provide goods on credit. She has been admitted to Bilaspur SIMS hospital.
