Two Maldivian Pilots Detained in UAE Over Alleged Hijacking Plot
Two Maldivian pilots have been detained in the United Arab Emirates in connection with an alleged plot to down a flydubai aircraft. The flight, FZ1073, was en route from Dubai to Tel Aviv with 174 passengers and crew when the alleged incident occurred. The investigation into the hijacking attempt has widened following the detentions.
